1. Try and experiment

4. Avoid dirt and smudges in the drawing
As a tradition, erase the sketch before drawing the line so that only its main features and position are visible; try to designate the character with as few lines as possible so that the outline is thin and neat.
In digital, try to use more saturated colors for painting, especially for shadows (do not forget to apply blending modes), also make sure that the stroke does not go beyond the borders of the drawing itself
5. Add as much detail as possible
